Christmas is here and so NPLP, at the expense of Reeder’s Teasers (to Jack’s disappointment), gives your their footballers as Christmas items.
The pod also welcomes on European football journalist Andy Brassell (Twitter: @andybrassell), who has written for the BBC and ESPN. Like Santa Claus, he whizzes us around France, Portugal, Spain and Italy to give us the lowdown before the winter break.
There’s no such thing in the Premier League, though, and NPLP discusses a thrilling few days for England’s top-flight including a dramatic Manchester Derby.
The New Year is fast approaching so the boys give their best moments of 2012 and what they are most looking forward to in 2013.

Season 2, Episode 7 - Spameritanlish
A couple of new managers are in town, and so NPLP follows suit by installing Jack as their interim presenter (Bill has not been sacked, he was busy in Canterbury trying to learn how to be funny).
Jack is joined by Sam and Dec and they make sense of all this weekend’s Premier League action. The pod also welcomes back on to the show ESPN’s Spanish correspondent Dermot Corrigan.
