Christmas is here and so NPLP, at the expense of Reeder’s Teasers (to Jack’s disappointment), gives your their footballers as Christmas items.
The pod also welcomes on European football journalist Andy Brassell (Twitter: @andybrassell), who has written for the BBC and ESPN. Like Santa Claus, he whizzes us around France, Portugal, Spain and Italy to give us the lowdown before the winter break.
There’s no such thing in the Premier League, though, and NPLP discusses a thrilling few days for England’s top-flight including a dramatic Manchester Derby.
The New Year is fast approaching so the boys give their best moments of 2012 and what they are most looking forward to in 2013.

Season 2, Episode 7 - Spameritanlish
A couple of new managers are in town, and so NPLP follows suit by installing Jack as their interim presenter (Bill has not been sacked, he was busy in Canterbury trying to learn how to be funny).
Jack is joined by Sam and Dec and they make sense of all this weekend’s Premier League action. The pod also welcomes back on to the show ESPN’s Spanish correspondent Dermot Corrigan. He tells us whether he thinks the La Liga title race is over, players he’s been impressed with so far this season in Spain this season and he gives us the lowdown on the AndalucĂan sides (Sevilla, Betis and Malaga).

Season 2, Episode 6 - You've Been Anti-Comebacked
NPLP believes it has coined a new phrase – “The Anti-Comeback”. Have a listen to what it’s all about and the boys give you their favourite anti-comebacks.
Serie A specialist Matt Barker (Twitter: @matthew_barker), who writes for magazines such as FourFourTwo and When Saturday Comes, is welcomed onto the show. He talks to the pod about the Rome Derby, Juventus’ push for the Champions League and Italy’s international side.

Season 2, Episode 4 - What a Yate Effort
The return of the Premier League gets the boys talking about Chelsea’s win at Tottenham, the Kick It Out campaign shirt protest as well as all the other action from the weekend’s games.

Season 2, Episode 2 - Can I Say Anymore Numbers?!
There was lots of high quality football in the Premier League this weekend and NPLP gets right to the heart of the action.
The boys were also delighted to call up Dermot Corrigan (follow him on Twitter @dermotmcorrigan), ESPN soccernet’s La Liga correspondent in Madrid, to talk Barcelona vs. Real Madrid and all other things Spanish.
